I've spent the last 25 years helping protect people, buildings, events, and corporations. I have had a rewarding career and want to share my experience and knowledge with those who want it most.

Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a lot of places – nearly every state and over 30 countries. Definitely experiences I would never trade.  A big part of what I have done is supported the protection of specific people. These folks are either extremely high net worth, at extreme risk, or highly valuable to their organization. I certainly could never fault one of those people for wanted the best security and preparedness program possible.

One day I read a pretty interesting article about a family that had to escape a wild fire that was coming right at them. They had 20 minutes to pack before they lost everything. Their experience made me think about all of the work I have done to help the very fortunate to prepare for, and survive, crises. It made me thing about the rest of use. While this is my business, I never had a team of professionals help me prepare.

I also realized that most people have a totally false sense of security. A common misconception is there will always be someone to save me. If someone is breaking into my house, the police will come. Right? If there is a fire coming, surely the fire department will make sure my house doesn’t burn down. Right?

Make no mistake, the dedicated men and women of law enforcement and public safety have tough jobs; however, when the worst is happening, they are going to be overwhelmed. 911 may not answer or you may not be able to dial it. You will have to be your own first responder.

Contrary to what you see in the movies, trying to solve the toughest challenge of your life under the most trying of circumstances is not easy. Toss a spouse, a couple of kids, and the family dog into the mix and it becomes down right impossible.

If you have read this far, you are probably having an aha moment. You are probably thinking that you need to have a plan. That is exactly why I am glad you found me. I am here to help.
